As a J-XDS stan, I'm really liking the look of the new nozzles. The triple sawtooth TVC flaps are actually gonna go crazy. If it had the carets from the first version, ditched the dorsal intake and changed to tandem seating instead of side by side it will look mean af, and finally like a legitimate fighter.

Definitely not. It could very well be a completely new type of intake that's neither caret nor DSI.

It looks more futuristic and exotic than anything including flying wings with the rectangular geometries. Flying wings and the canted wing aircraft like the GJ-x look and feel very um human? This just looks downright otherworldly, faster and more aerodynamic than those flying wing glorified gliders. The overall shape and alignment feels "ruined" with the modification.

Hard disagree. It looks too plain without the sharp triangular TVC nozzles. If anything it saved it from being the cybertruck of planes. It's also not that good looking in general compared to say the J-XDS or F-22, especially once you look at it from anywhere besides the bottom...

I see a lot of folks attributing new exhaust arrangement here to F-22-style 2D TVC in pitch only.

But don't we already have indications from J-XDS photography that both the occluding extensions outboard of engines, and the "stinger(s)" between them, can also incorporate vertical paddles/flaps for limited vectoring of thrust in yaw as well as pitch? See below photo from a few months back.

I have speculated in the related post of J-XDS that the people of AVIC may have reduced the nozzle structure weight and thrust loss of 2DCD to an acceptable level, instead of making so much compromise like F-22.
We have seen how far-reaching the promotion of a certain design will be when it is proved to be effective, which can be seen from the modification of the inlet to their customary formula.

It might have that function, but without clear confirmation, I think it is safer to continue calling it 2D TVC for now.

absolutely, that's why I'm deliberately not saying "2D-TVC" but "flat-nozzles" or "triangular-flap-TVC". I know the latter isn't an actual term but I think there is a possibility that we get a flat triangular nozzle that can sway both vertically and horizontally. It makes sense since without a tail you'll need to compensate for yaw
