Lolong. I mourned his death. Because of him, the world record went to Asia and I was hoping to visit one day.
@broadsword bro From what I heard there is another one captured at 22 ft long BUT was sold to a local politician and release it in the wild. The reason it was not reported because of what happen to Lolong. It died cause it can't able to adopt to his new surrounding, the croc in captivity don't eat thus the reason for its dead.

I wish a world-beating specimen could be kept in a zoo. It will attract a lot of tourists to gawk and benchmark themselves up close.

@broadsword bro here is a YT video, depicting a huge croc at 29 ft, for me its an exaggeration BUT who knows, when Lolong was captured the locals say its not the monster who ate the fisherman , its a 25ft female croc. Lolong for its age is still young and capable of growing larger.

@broadsword you're so right bro BUT the sighting is correct, 29ft is an exaggeration on the part of the Filipino fisherman, maybe due to the shock of seeing such monstrosity, all expert agree that the croc is a female and measured at 25 ft.

From what I read about Lolong, it was a plastic bag it ingested that killed him, not starvation.
bro before being kept in captivity there is an examination " In the examination of the stomach contents after his capture, no remnants of water buffaloes reported missing before Lolong's capture were found, nor human remains.

" so Lolong was vigorously check, and his daily activity is being monitored. The plastic is an excused cause the local gov't is the real culprit , the greed instead of release it to the wild they want to use Lolong as a tourist attraction, making the croc uncomfortable due to the unfamiliar environment.

A little while back a bilibili channel that made videos of countries going to war was shared on this forum, but I've forgotten where. There was a series that was ongoing of China and India going to war, it was in multiple parts and i think part 2-3 just came out. Does anyone remember/know the channel?

It was really fun to watch.
