like what?
please give explicit examples of such "blueprints", quoting sources and evidence to back up such claims as well.
just stating a broad statement like that because it is your belief (or fantasy if I may say so) will not go very far in this Forum.
China has single-handedly:
set up an independent Beidou GPS system with very high accuracy,
established a functioning Space Station and expanding it as we speak,
landed on the far side of the Moon,
landed on Mars,
built Stealth fighters,
built hypersonic missiles,
built CATOBAR carriers with EM catapults.
with due respect, how can Ukraine Universities contribute to the above programs????
It's not my thought, so in my country (VN) which have a very good relationship with soviet, almost everybody that i talk with have that thought.
Not me but i just want to ask cuz they all honor the engine industry of soviet and they tell me that after the soviet collapsed all the blueprints of the machine were stored in URK university.
Just ask to clarify that. Tks for the reply.

Doubtful. I assume schematics are stored either in the design bureau or some other place in the central government.
At this point China has already acquired most of what they could acquire from Ukraine.
Ukraine still has better aviation engine technology but that is bound to change once the CJ-500, CJ-1000, and CJ-2000 come out.
The fact is Ukraine for the most part sat on the laurels of the Soviet Union and did little since with minor exceptions like small engines i.e. Al-222 or Al-450S.

Just use some critical thinking…
The Soviet Union collapsed 30 years ago. How valuable are 30 year old blueprints going to be?

Ukraine does have technical cooperation with China, but that is just business.

Granted, 30 years ago China was a student of Ukrainian technology and engineering, and China is still grateful to Ukraine for that.
but 30 years later, things have moved rapidly on in China and the former student has matured to become a master in her own right.
of course, western MSM continues to sell the image that China cannot innovate, conveniently ignoring the fact that every year, roughly 600000 engineers graduate from Chinese Universities, whereas the US graduates roughly 70000 undergraduate engineers annually.
even the US fears for its future, and for good reasons.

I share their concern cause most of them are ethnic Chinese or Asian. ;)

I just want to ask " Is that real that Ukrainians University have a lot of blueprints that China really want to get their hands on ?" Cuz there's a believe in my country that is the truth. I'm new to the Chinese aerospace industry so be nice to me .

They're really underestimating Chinese espionage if they think China couldn't get some dusty papers out of Ukrainian universities if wanted to.

This is not a military related question but it is nuclear so I guess it's appropriate.
SMR - small modular nuclear reactors

SMR's are the new thing these days that will revitalize the nuclear industry, at least that's what the supporters claim. Their argument is simple: it is cheaper to mass produce something in a factory than to build it on site. SMR's are usually small, about 100 MW in size, compared to more traditional nuclear reactors which are 1,000 MW. Because they are small, these reactors can fit on the back of a truck and be transported almost anywhere. If a large power plant is to be built, then 10 SMR's can be combined on site.

My question is simple. If this is such a smart idea why wasn't this done 50 years ago?

The concept of mass producing something in a factory is Not a new idea. It seems that all the tools and technology to make this possible was already available 50 years ago so why now?
