Love Elon. Love Lauren.

A rebuttal to Lauren Chen's and Elon Musk's opinions on the need to rid of all subsidies...and the value of Federal investments that brought about the advancements in the world's economy brought forth by the spending Lauren and Elon seem to have forgotten.

Zakaria is spitting fire here
He actually said it loud:
His 3 companies, SpaceX/Tesla/SolarCity wouldnt even exist without federal support

So Elon Musk, used these subsidies to grow his companies, and now that SpaceX and Tesla (also bought/merged SolarCity..) are big, he wants to eliminate tax refit to handicap his competitors from doing the same lol

And for good measure here's the full interview of Elon Musk with WSJ. I am halfway of listening to his interview and I must confess that this man's towering ego rivals none. His intelligence and vision maybe above us mere mortals but his arrogance and dismissal of anything that doesn't go along with his warped view is a hella dangerous. This man seems to ignore the fact that if his businesses were established anywhere else in Europe (except China) or the world the level of success and the protection he gets from the country that has a monopoly on violence which is America, wouldn't have been made possible.

I may abhor America's role in the world but I am not an idiot to deny the benefits it has accrued to her own people based on it's own conducts since the Founding of the Republic. Elon Musk would have been toiling in mediocrity or marginal success if he had decided to stay in his home country of South Africa. His inanity displayed on this video goes to show just how dangerous these so-called geniuses delusions can be.

He also made some important endorsements of sort on the need for the world to increase it's population not decrease and then made his now infamous or famous comment on China becoming the new big kid on the block by the size of it's future economy being 2x or 3x the size of the U.S. economy.

Despite what he said above my criticism for Elon Musk firmly stands.

Pretty much...but that would means it'll hamper innovations on these important industries and possibly making these important next gen products cheaper or accessible to the general public.

*benefits it has accrued to its elites/wealthy.

The benefits to regular people comes in 2nd (basically not seeing it these past years/decades).
