Auction of 62 billion of 7 years notes saw a historically low demand as foreign buyers shun them. The Fed was forced to step in and buy up some of the 7 years notes. So we have a spike in yields.
if inflation remains low, we may see Fed buying stocks like the BoJ

I believe the actual issue is that there are big players manipulating the bond market knowing that the fed will buy bad loans at highest price.

Eventually all US debt will be owned by the fed and Japanification is complete. Meaning no growth for decades.
@localizer So a perfect time for China to sell its USTB. maybe the Benelux countries will have the same appetite to purchase more...LOL
