However I've have partaken in "Beer Day" and a steel beach picnic or two. "Beer Day" went out over 35 years ago. Beer Day was held in conjunction with a steel beach picnic. Everyone was rationed two beers after 45 consecutive days at sea. Aboard America in 1981 we had three beer days.
