Sorry for being so squirrely....I shouldn't be. For God gave me a sound mind.

2 Tim. 1:7...For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I don't know. We did not have these lines on the flight deck in my day. They may be reference points for aircraft directors. I'm not sure.

It is exactly like that. The lines are new. That's why I'm asking. Isn't a family member of yours serving on an aircraft carrier so you could ask when the opportunity arises?

Yes I have a grandson, poopeye, serving aboard Nimitz. Nimitz is at sea and it would be nearly impossible to contact him while they are underway.(OPSEC=Operational Security) He is an Operations Specialist(radar tech). He works in CIC(Combat Information Center) I doubt if he knows what those lines are for. When I can I will ask him.
