I have compiled a LOT of information and put it together in a site I am calling

that I felt a lot of folks on this forum might be interested in seeing.

It has all of the world's active carriers organized by country and class of ship...and most of the ones that are currently being built (I am adding the new Spanish Strategic Ship this evening).

It also includes all of the major, large-deck Amphibious ships.

Hope you enjoy it, and that it is informative for you. Let me know what you think.

youve already advertised this site in other threads.

Sorry if it offended you, that was not the intent. I honestly felt there were people here who would enjoy seeing it but who had not done so yet it and would be more likely to see it in its own thread.

I checked it out and it looks really nice! I should buy one of your books, the seem really good! I know GlobalSecurity had a small thing about Worldwide Carriers a while back, they were talking about that knew ROK Amphibious Assault Ship, which really looks like a carrier and seems like it could hold F-35s or harriers. New addition to your site possibly?

The ROK vessel is already on there. Click on the link to the Large-Deck Amphibs on the main page to the right under the banner. The Dokdo is listed there for South Korea.

Thanks for the kind words and let me know what you think about the book!

Have they actually started construction? I am trying to add carriers that either already exist, or have started construction.

I do talk about the DDH on both the Osumi and the Dokdo pages though, and even have a pic of the artist conception.

I just added the new Spanish Strategic Carrier Project which started construction this year in May. It's on the main page now. Check it out.

That's on the Rising Sea Dragon page. It is only meant as a comparison of the various classes and vessel types.

Thanks. I hope you find the pages informative and interesting. I put it together because I wanted myself a single place to go and compare all of the worlds carriers.
