Yeah, I was about to ask that too. Was there some Iranian claim or evidence that the interception happened at low altitudes? if not, and if the low altitude theory is simply a product of someone thinking that the video itself must mean the camera must be close by - then that's not very convincing. It's perfectly possible for a large lens, well stabilized camera from the ground to capture such an image even at 10 km up. Alternatively, perhaps less likely, Iran does have jet engine powered SAM missiles which could, conceivably, be trailing the f35 and perhaps even help track it, while another SAM does the interception itself.

But does Iranian loitering IR missiles have the ability to engage fighter jet targets at 30k feet?

You will notice i didn't say such sam hit it. I said (a less likely) possibility is that such sam merely tracked it and that is how we got the footage. As those sams seem to have download video links. Thats how we got those reaper interception videos. again, more likely footage source is a ground based thermal targeting sight.

Well, at the end of one month ther won't be any weapon left by the Rheinmetal CEO.

So , it has to be finished by then : D

Trump: U.S. could leave Iran ‘right now’ but staying longer so they can ‘never rebuild’

President Donald Trump on Friday said U.S. could pull out of Iran “right now” and still leave Tehran unable to rebuild its military capabilities for a decade.

But that’s not “an acceptable situation,” Trump told MS Now’s Stephanie Ruhle in a phone interview.

“If we left right now, it would take them at least 10 years to rebuild, but rebuild they will,” Trump said in the roughly 15-minute call.

“If we stay longer, they’ll never rebuild,” he said.

Trump’s comments came after multiple news outlets reported that the Pentagon is sending up to 2,500 more Marines to the Middle East from San Diego. It’s the second reported deployment of thousands of U.S. troops to the region in the past week.

Trump said in the Oval Office on Thursday that he would not put boots on the ground in Iran.

Later that same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said “there has to be a ground component” to ensure meaningful regime change in Iran.

Netanyahu appeared to be referring to the Iranian people in his remarks, saying they must ultimately “rise to the moment.” But he added that there are “many possibilities for this ground component.”

Trump, in Friday’s interview with Ruhle, said the U.S. and Israel share “largely similar” goals for Iran.

“The difference is, they live right next door. We don’t. That’s a big difference,” he said.
“If we stay longer, they’ll never rebuild,” he said.

How do you prevent Iran from NEVER rebuilding the military again?

Ground Invasion. Military Draft.

He wants Hormuz open. If he has to take Kharg Island to make it happen, that's going to happen. If he decides to have a coastal invasion, that's going to happen.

Can someone tell him he's already accomplished enough merit for one MSS agent, any more and we'll have to replace Mao's portrait on Tiananmen with a gold framed 川送国 one.

France calls on Iran to make major concession in exchange for cease fire.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said Friday on a visit to Israel that Iran must make major concessions as part of any long-term political solution following the Middle East war.

"Whatever the outcome of the ongoing military operations, it must be complemented by a political solution that produces lasting results," Barrot told journalists in Tel Aviv, AFP reported.

"In this regard, the Iranian regime must be prepared to make major concessions -- a radical change of stance."

I'd say: fighting means death, concession is also dead. Why not fighting until your last blood?
