History does repeat itself-1943 Oct 13 IIRC Italy switched sides to the Allies and Hitler had to invade Italy-does Fuehrer Trump have to invade Italy and perhaps capture Giorgia Meloni?-she is his type,-epic eyerolling and all.

I read up a comment that the reason the US or hell the west are doing this is partly because of the enshittification of advisory bodies like think tanks, geopolitical analysts etc.
In the past they actually hired people who are experienced in their line of work and did their homework properly. Today however it's full of nepobabbies and other morons. Hell you probably noticed some of these so called advisory bodies have Indians from India in them operating in them in high positions where they can actually affects what kind of decisions make it to the top guy to sign off. How they do not notice a huge conflict of interest is beyond me.
