The US is intercepting the missiles and even with that help they are STILL getting hit. If a saturation attack the overwhelms the US defense system happens, Israelis cities are doomed. The Iron dome is doing very little against this type of missiles.

Not necessarily an interception. Could be abm self destructing. All the incoming missiles show a contrail but not this.

The element of surprise card can only be used once and Israel has used it

Whatever it hoped to achieve, it better have been worth it, because its got itself a proper war now

And in the grand scheme of things, Israel getting locked in a war with Iran without direct US participation is a W for Palestinians, and if US participate, it's a W for the world.
