I know what Iran wants to achieve, it wants to force Qatar to kick out Americans, but I don't think the US will let them do that
Lots of countries host US bases. If Iran starts hitting countries which didn't involve themselves or let the bases get used in military operations against it, it will be surrounded by enemies very very quick

So far Iran is doing better than expected, given that they were taken by surprise by the Israeli attack. Both sides (Iran and Israel) are hurting, and both are trying to de-escalate without losing face. Of course, if the US mounts a concerted airstrike against Iran, they would be in much deeper trouble, but for various reasons, the US does not seem willing to go all out against Iran for the moment.
If the war starts to wind down, then Iran can count it as a win, and hopefully make wiser decisions in the future.

What else is there to hit that have not already been hit. They have lost top leaders, top industrial bases, universities. Anything of value has already been hit. US cannot do much more unless they want to bomb civilians.
Iran already paid the price, so they should make their opponents pay in a war of attrition. If they back down now, it's iran that has lost much more than the opponents.
Iran has nothing to lose now similar to the houthis. If they are steadfast they can force to US to back down and actually achieve victory.

Barring Israeli obstinacy, at this point de-escalation is likely the name of the game.
