Now that the US have showcased their ability to strike the heartland unopposed, they can always just blow up critical infrastructure and leave. Why even negotiate? Israel has a unique opportunity to cripple one of their staunchest regional enemy and keep them down for decades.

This is despite Iran having far more oil, gas and natural resources more than all of them and even more so a well educated, skilled, open minded youth population, who unfortunately often chooses to emigrate abroad for better opportunities.
