Tactical nukes can't destroy deeply buried hardened underground facilities because of low yield and lack of penetration power. It would require multiple direct hits with strategic nukes, and even that is not guaranteed if Iran takes extra precautions and makes it deep enough and extra hardened.
Basically there is nothing Israel airpower (or even American airpower) can do an except delay the nuclear program by few weeks or few months at best. Airpower, missiles, and drones can't help end the Ukraine war, I do not see a strategy except at hoping for US land-based intervention and regime change...which would be an insane gift to Chinese superpower status since 9/11.
Trump never served in the American military, but a number of his principal lieutenants — namely Vance and Hegseth — fought in Iraq (and elsewhere during the GWOT), where they inevitably became acquainted with the painful price — in both blood and treasure — of such (mis)adventures.
The outcomes, as well as the secondary and tertiary effects of these sandbox conflicts have inevitably left a number of American veterans — never mind those who have since emerged as politically savvy actors in the current administration — deeply cynical about would be military entanglements in the Muslim world.
Unless some force or authority is able to rein in Israeli neuroticism concerning Iran, it appears one of two things will happen: either the Israelis will convince the Trump administration (to attempt) to physically dismantle the Iranian nuclear program with conventional means in concert with ongoing Israeli efforts, or the Israelis will (attempt to) dismantle the Iranian nuclear program by whatever means available and presumably necessary themselves.
At this point, given how far the Israelis have gone to attack Iran and its allies, there shouldn't be any questions as to whether the Israelis consider the extant Iranian regime an existential threat and vice versa.
With that said, there's a not insignificant chance that the Israelis will deploy strategic nuclear weapons to neutralize Iran's nuclear program if that's what's necessary.
You can compromise AD network this way, but individual launchers and systems?
What good are launchers if there's no connectivity for receiving radar feeds, assuming the radars are even working?
OK I am now convinced that Khamenei is either an Israeli asset or an helpful idiot, either explaining why he is still alive. He is hindering Iran's nuclear program. The old man has far outlived his welcome. He needs to go.
The Iranians are a lot more reasonable and magnanimous than what they've been portrayed to be by Western elites and media.
The Iranians are a ridiculously hospitable, if not obnoxiously courteous people (at least in my interactions with them), and it appears their sense of honor and hospitality may be impeding their own national survival at this point.
