I can't see them getting much in the track and field tbh. In the sprints, the women 200m will probably go to the US, maybe the relays, but that's only 50/50. The rest of the world have caught up with the US in most track and field events now. It's not such a gimme for the US anymore.

Jamaica has a better chance than the U.S. in the Women's 200m and 4 x 100m relay.

Was just hearing about NZ putting a former man in their women’s weight lifting. Got nothing against transgender people, but this is just western wishfully thinking gone way too far!

Semantics and political correctness doesn’t change biology, and unless they introduce peepee-measuring as a new Olympic event, neither would gender re-assignment surgery, since transgender women would still enjoy all of the additional muscle growth they had as adolescents thanks to their male hormones during puberty.

I would say that transgender athletes should not be allowed unless their surgery occurred before puberty.

If they want to compete in the olympics, then can compete in the biological gender they were before their surgery.
Yeah, everyone was complaining about this Steven Seagal-looking Manny McMandick competing and everyone was bent out of shape about it... except China. Because Li Wenwen can wreck this guy by 50kg so we don't care. Western media doesn't like to talk about Chinese dominance so everyone in the West who didn't personally follow weightlifting thought a man gonna win the women's super heavy but he really had no chance. Today, Guy Scrotumson here bombed out. The surprising thing is that Sarah Robles of the USA lost to Emily Campbell of the UK and had to settle for bronze. I thought with Russia and North Korea out, she would have the silver.

Our brilliant giant steamed mantou bun Li Wenwen is a young superstar and holds the world records in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total in her weight category. 140+180 today is disappointing for her because she's not far off from 150+190 to be honest. Guess they didn't feel like going hard today. Her bodyweight is some over 150kg while her coach is Wu Meijin, Asian Games Champion, double World Champion, and Olympics Silver Medalist in the men's 56 kg featherweight class. She is almost 3 times his size and in interviews, he said Li Wenwen has a very cute personality and when she gets pouty and throws a little tantrum with him, he really can't handle her strength and size.

Don't call her a meatball. She will flip your car over and Eff your shit up; her coach knows what I'm talkin' about. Call her a lovely pastry, a soft and fluffy mantou with the heavenly aroma of angels.

Cool stuff:
First picture you posted is her coach Wu Meijin on the left.

Second picture you posted is Wu Meijin again to the right, and Chinese women's team national coach, men's 69kg 3x World Champion, 2004 Olympic champion, 2X Asian Games Champion Zhang Guozheng to the left. Age 46, he has been known to come out of his office to casually snatch 100kg to demonstrate proper technique to his students.

US events are coming up now. This is the moment of truth. All 5 athletic medal events today have US athletes at least in 3rd, with many world champions going for gold and even podium sweep attempts today.

If US fumbles again then this will bode really really well for China.

Speaking from experience? Ok, thnx for the heads up LOL.

The false start from the Brit likely distracted Su, resulting in a less aggressive restart.
