Didn't some genius from NYT claim that China only wins events in low-key sports like badmington? Turns out a Western country will win men's singles in badmington and China won cycling, which is as Western dominated as it gets when it comes to sports. What do they have to say about that?

I think you are too harsh on China badminton. 2gold 2 silver is good result. Before the Olympics started, most fans think 1 gold and a few minor medals would be best we can hope for.
