Good grief, China has more than twice the gold medal count of the nearest contender, and you're still not satisfied?
Agreed. It isnt as if China was loosing out to her major competitors, even GB US Ukraine won fewer medals. I think quite a few smaller countries picked up the medals here and there.

Interesting I did not think it's gonna happen for this recent Olympics. Not only cuz of the pandemic but also due to the shenanigans before in hk.

Also good to move to have su bingtian front and center in their media campaign. Although usually reserved for gold medallists only he achieved something pretty historic for China in blue ribbon event of the OG. And importantly he is from guangdong province. That place that traitorous fleas like nathan law and Joshua Wong hail from.

Happy ending for all except the ones who cheated.

The Canadian team in the event included Andre De Grasse, Aaron Brown, Jerome Blake and Brendon Rodney. China finished fourth and will be bumped up to bronze.

"I would like to apologize to my teammates, their families and support teams for the impact which this has had on them," Ujah said in a statement. "I'm sorry that this situation has cost my teammates the medals they worked so hard and so long for, and which they richly deserved. That is something I will regret for the rest of my life."

The only thing he regrets is probably getting caught.

Yes. It is now official.

Team China was identified as the third place finisher of the men's 4x100m relay at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, according to the official website of IAAF on Monday.

The website of the governing body of the world's athletics added Olympic bronze winner in the honors summaries of China's Su Bingtian, Xie Zhenye, Wu Zhiqiang and Tang Xingqiang, who finished fourth at the final race with 37.79 seconds in Tokyo in August 2021.

2012 London Women's 20km Race Walk Final Results

A decade after the medal ceremony, the three Chinese women who originally placed 3rd, 4th, and 6th, have finally been awarded gold, silver, and bronze.

The IOC has just stripped the gold medalist Yelena Lashmanova of all her titles from 2012 to 2013. Source:

So the original bronze, later silver, and now gold medalist, Qieyang Shijie from a herder family, became the first Tibetan athlete (and first from Qinghai Province) to win Olympic gold! Here's the IOC results page for 2012 London Women's 20km Race Walk (Lashmanova is not yet removed pending an update)

OT I know, sorry!
