Here’s an article from Shepard news which explains a lot about this vehicle

The company Wuhan Guide Infrared made its debut at the Zhuhai Air Show, and one of its more fascinating items on display was the QN-506 Multi-Weapon Combat Vehicle based on a tracked chassis.

Some are comparing the QN-506 vehicle to the BMPT ‘Terminator’, which has entered Russian Army service, but the Chinese vehicle uses weapons and sensors sourced internally from within the company, according to Manala Wang, director of the company.

The firm describes the QN-506 as ‘an integrated weapon system with reconnaissance and strike capability’. Thus, it features these main components: a reconnaissance rotary-winged UAV (with 10km range), S570 loitering munition (with 10km range), 30mm cannon alongside a 35mm grenade launcher and 7.62mm machine gun, QN-201 multipurpose light missile (4km range) and QN-502C medium-range antitank missile (6km range).

The vehicle is therefore something of a Swiss Army knife of capabilities to which a laser warning device, sniper detection system and six 76mm smoke grenade launchers are added for good measure.

The QN-506 can carry four antitank missiles, 20 light missiles, 200 30mm rounds (both armour-piercing and high explosive), 1,000 7.62mm rounds and four loitering munitions.

The approximately 30t turret can be fitted on any chassis, Wang said, although the example shown at Zhuhai uses a donor Type 59 tank chassis. It could also fit an 8x8 wheeled vehicle. The turret includes an EO sight, gunner’s sight, panoramic full-view system and driver camera system.

The vehicle operates with a crew of three ensconced inside the vehicle hull: commander, gunner and driver. They enjoy protection thanks to explosive reactive armour installed on the hull, plus composite armour is fitted on the unmanned turret.

The QN-506 was designed in conjunction with People’s Liberation Army (PLA) requirements. However, it is still several years away from completion, Wang acknowledged.
