Military channel's rating is a bit western biased. For Example, B-47 didn't see enough action to rate so high on the chart.

Though it didn't see any major action, the B-47 was the front-line of US nuclear deterrent in 1950s, until its replacement by B-52's. These were the planes that were fueled and armed with nuclear bombs, sitting on the air field by the hundreds, ready to go with KC-97 tankers at moment's notice. From a "shock and awe" point of view, I think the Soviets probably viewed them with apprehension.

As for aircraft that was actually used en mass, I'd have to say both B-24 and IL-2 takes the top score in WW2. They were built and deployed in larger numbers than any other bomber aircraft (in their class).

The B-24 wasn't the best bomber, but Ford's mass production expertise was brought in and they rolled 18,000+ off the assembly line. Combined with other allied bombers produced in the thousands, the German AF simply didn't have enough aircraft to match.
