really? ... honestly 055 could have 128 VLS quite easily .. a bit mystery why only have 112 VLS
YJ-20 ASBM??
Anyway, the idea of the inevitable 055A having a marginally larger VLS count is not hard to believe (though I'm not sure about this guy's credibility).
It's the powerplant arrangement (aka IEPS), the configuration of the topside superstructure, and the presence or absence of railgun and DEW which are the big money questions to answer going forwards.

IEPS + sensors are definitely items to watch out for. I've a feeling that ever since the adoption of the UVLS, PLAN destroyer classes will be delineated more by propulsion and sensors than anything else.
