He is most OBVIOUSLY reticent about revealing further information. He has implied this several times in the last few hours, and he is implying it in the post you quoted. Why do we need several pages of this debate? Why do you need to have the last word?

No one can have an iron clad prove or official source that what make Chinese military tracking interesting. A certain amount of speculation and guessing is part of the deal

I'm not "holier than thou" or anyone for that matter, I just don't want to drink from the gutters unless I'm assured the water is safe, and I most certainly won't trust the assurance from someone with a dodgy record on honesty or competence.

He's reticent about revealing the identity of the source, which is not what I'm asking for. Instead, I asked if the source is "an insider of some kind, or someone who has access to an insider", which is reasonable enough, and he may choose to answer or not.
