According to some talk on weibo, and as of now it's just unsubstantiated rumors, under the shed facing the dry dock, reactor pressure vessel components have arrived. It might have to do with the uncensored version of this picture, which seems to have been taken in the same time frame as Deino's pic above.

There is no possibility that the 004 is conventionally powered.

Is there any info about the enrichment rate of the Type 004's nuclear reactors?
20% (LEU) Low enrichment uranium
90% (HEU) High enrichment uranium

Chinese nuclear subs use 20% (LEU).
However these were built back in the days when China had significantly less financial resources.
Today China can afford to do whatever it wants.
It will be interesting to see which path the Type 004 takes: LEU or HEU ???

The photo taken 2 days ago shows that there was a delivery by a ship at the gate of the dry dock, and 2 large transporters on a road at the bottom left of the photo.

Hopefully we will see a new fabricated module block soon.
