I have a question. I noticed there are two types of helmets worn by these armored troops, the normal-looking one with the camo cover and the black one with 3 ridges. What are the differences between these helmets and why did they choose a particular type? Thanks!

The ridged helmet is based on the old Soviet tanker helmet. Its not really a helmet per se, as it offers no protection. Its just a soft cover with the ridges there to keep you getting hurt too much when smacking your head inside the tank. As far as who wears what. As I remember, if they expected you to have your head outside much of the time, you get the traditional infantry helmet. Otherwise, tank/armored vehicle crew get the soft helmet.
