I guess i would pass out a quiz, Identify the explosive.

Edit- some bonus trivia

-How many seconds of delay does it have once activated.(tricky)
-Identify the "safe" zone within 10 meters of explosion.

uhhh fragmentational antipersonnal mine that shoots 2 feet into the air and detonates?
i think it's between 2-6seconds if i remember correctly..

and safe zone...either there isn't, or it is directly above the target?

Seem to be a Yugoslavian PROM-1.

The explosive being displayed is an inverted PROM-1.

You've got all the right ideas, but not quite there. It is a bouncing betty variant, the Yugoslavian PROM-1.

It was a myth of pop culture at one time where if you step on a mine and don't take your foot off. For one, it keeps the mine in the ground, being at worst you lose your foot. For second, if you keep the weight on the mine, it won't go off. Usually, thats because there is a delaying action of 3 seconds, however that is adjustable and the mine can be as instant as one puts their foot on it.

There isnt really a safe zone, but with the S-mine specifically, the way it spews projectiles outward, it hits directly over, underneath and horitontally in an arc. In a perfect world, this leaves an area between 3-5 meters away from the blast and close to the gorund a zone thats outside of the said arc. Its far from safe, especially since the bounce upward is not perfectly verticle. But its the best chance for survival if you hit the dirt 3-5 yards away from where you stepped on it. Although its often not advised due to the fact that you may already be inside a mine field, running might trigger more explosions.
