LOL! What happened to the Indian argument that their T-90 would eat the PLA's Type 15 light tanks? Why the sudden change of mind?

Rule no. 1 when observing India. They always announce ambitious projects with crazy datelines. After that, years if not decades have passed after that dateline, and that project is still far from completion.

As of now, in mid 2022, India has no operational prototype of that light tank. Not even any drawings, CG, or mockups to show for. But India wants to have an indigenous light tank design, ready for full production in 2023? Jai Hind!

So their supposed plan is to have L&T, the license producer of South Korean K-9 SPHs in India to convert a K-9 chassis for use as a light tank? Why? The K-9's Chassis is massive. Its even bigger than the T-90 MBT's chassis. Even the South Koreans chose their K-21 chassis for their light tank program. Apart from all that, India is planning to use imported South Korean designs, and parts in a project that they claimed to be "Atmanibhar Bharat". That is just so India. Jai Hind!
2023 deadline is not as crazy as u think
there were tons of tenders for procurement of parts for the the light tank last year and currently

production is 2023 is a jk probably they meant proto will be revealed

Another new mileston and GAME CHANGER for the Indian military and DRDO. They have just successfully launched the first flight of their unmanned fighter aircraft.

Why is the only footage shown a 5 second clip on repeat and lauded like it was the biggest accomplishment they've ever achieved? o_O Also that thing looks like something I've seen hobbyists in the US make way back in 2009.

What’s the point of a stealthy flying-wing design when it has a large vertical stabilzer sticking out? This thing is basically a glorified RC plane that a model builder can hack together in his garage in a matter of weeks. I wonder if it has a weapons bay at all. If it does, it could probably carry only a few hand grenades.
