CAESAR in particular is not that fast. Tracked vehicles that I know of can do shoot and scoot a lot faster. CAESAR is fiddly with setup taking quite a bit of time. It might just be a matter of Russian operational procedure. If they just sent an artillery barrage at the coordinates the artillery rounds come from immediately they could catch them. But it would be hard to minimize collateral damage in that case. Without spotter confirmation via drone or something. The Ukrainians are also likely shooting outside Krasnopol range which is 20km.

Some GLONASS MLRS barrage would get it. If the Russians don't mind the collateral damages.

This is an issue modern combat has. The Saudis have been spending quite a bit of money on modern portable counter artillery radar from the US. This is something China could easily do if they wanted to since they have the base technology. And laser guided rounds are nice but insufficient. You would likely be better off with dual mode Laser + Beidou.

From Guanqi podcast, it seems like Putin and Macron have some under the table dealings, and they simply aren't targeting the CAESARs (in exchange for France providing as little possible military help/equipment to Ukraine).

Afterall, Russian military has targeted and destroyed lots of other Ukrainian military vehicles, it really shouldn't be that impossible or hard for them to actually destroy some CAESARs.

But I am fairly sure that since the reorganization, the atgm company is composed of one standard PLA battery, which is 9 vehicles?

I.e. 8x9= 72 missiles for tracked launchers

You could be right, just double checked, at least in one CABde(LD11), we've seen pics of launching vechile 6602 05 06 07 09, followed by observation vechile 6610, so safe to say there're at least 9 launchers in this batallion. I'll wait for more pictures to see if this is the norm.

I'm fairly confident 9 launchers per battery is the norm for all PLA artillery batteries

18-27x guns in the 122mm artillery tube company in the artillery battalion of a combined arms brigade, 9x 122mm for MRL company.
And 9x HJ-10 for atgm company.

Even in artillery brigades, 155mm guns are organized in batteries of 9 -- for example most battalions of 155mm are 18 guns organized in two batteries.
