Seems to me that Turkey is bargaining. EU accept Turkey in exchange for Finland and Sweden in NATO.

Another consideration from Turkey could be that Turkey is improving relationship with Russia (balancing between east and west), Turkey does not want adding another possible trigger of war between NATO and Russia which will put Turkey in a difficult place due to Article 5.
Alternatively, NATO might need someone to scuttle the deal and Turkey was the best choice. NATO certianly doesn't want the world to see it deny membership to Finland and Sweden because it looks like they just got cowered by Russia. But they don't know what they'd do either if Russia just goes on and attacks either of them because, obviously, nuclear war would ensue. So, how to back out while looking tough? Get a favor out of the NATO family black sheep: Turkey. Or Turkey might have done it without the behest of anyone because it realized that things were escalating in a very scary way in its neighborhood and unlike most other NATO countries, Turkey can be that off-ramp without losing any face so it took it upon itself. Just some possibilities; I'm not saying it's what happened.

What a funny article.
He asked for all these things, but gives nothing in return?
KSA should "stop the purchase of completed Chinese missiles...." and ???
Not like, "in return for support of this", or Reaper sales, etc., just looks like "Do me a solid, man!"
That is the "benefit" of being in alliance with the U.S. This kind of alliance comes quick, looks glorious, and goes quick too.

Qatar's leader visited Iran today. The western media are trying to describe it as an attempt to restart a nuclear deal, but this is how Iran described it:

Notice in particular they are mentioning the death of that reporter who got killed by Israel. As I predicted, it seems the Middle East has finally put their differences aside to deal with the Israel issue.

I think we will see Iran and Saudi Arabia organising a meeting. If it happens, I think an oil embargo will be very likely. The EU have decided to stop importing Russian oil, so that makes them even more vulnerable. If they aren't buying oil from Russia and OPEC, where are they going to buy oil from?
They are going to buy oil from their Karens and Kens and pretend that all is well. Just like with Covid-19 pandemic, if you do not test you don't have Covid-19.

Not even in funeral where one is allowed to be in peace. The actions taken by Israeli security folks are just inhumane in my opinion. Pretty sad and terrible situation overall.

It is pretty sickening that with the backing of the USA that they can easily commit atrocities without any resistance but you can bet without the USA around, I wonder if Israel can afford to continue their cruelty because most nations around the world can barely hold back their desire to choke the collective crap of it if them given how Israel has been causing untold torment to the Middle East for so long. One must wonder if they actually read the Bible given that if the Jews have been beaten by the Babylonians and the Romans, what is going to stop the collective Middle East from killing the heel out of them when the USA is out of the picture one day and no, this time no one short of the almighty himself is going to save them and even so, it will not be the majority of them

Imagine if that same action was undertaken by the Hong Kong Polic force during the seditious riots back in 2019. The howlings and fake out cry of human rights and all the b.s. that comes with their hilarious outrage would have been defeaning

Which is why the current chaos in Europe and the coming chaos that is going to come to the USA is one that they completely and utterly should've saw coming a mile away and it is one that they completely deserve right now and the added bonus us that many of those HK rioters that escaped to the UK to experience freedom can get a front seat to what a real humanitian crisis is going to taste like. Imagine the mind break that they are going to suffering in the next free months or years, I wonder if this will wake them up assuming that they don't delude themselves any further

There was talk about hundreds of thousands coming to the UK, but in the end not many did.
