It's strange because I never had this happen before.
Never occurred to me what happens when a tweet is deleted.
It disappears, all the comments disappear, even the link on this forum got scrubbed.
So it's like they don't even have to deny it, because it basically never happened!
Oh, but it did:

Maybe China should do this.

Phone Zelensky, and ask him how much are the Americans paying you? Then offer to double it or triple it!

:p
and pay that in installments linked to the US not attempting to sanction any chinese banks for helping Russia break SWIFT?

Yeah and how long it takes for the Ukrainian Pilot to train with this new.. and probably Never seen before or even used by Ukrainian pilot themselves.

There is a reason why MiG-29 is selected.
OK, maybe the US will take some electronic kit out before handover to UAF? Those MiGs will have been upgraded during their 30+ years with NATO.

I believe Finland is treaty bound with Russia to not join the NATO or any other military alliance of which Russia is not a part. it would be foolish for Finland to overtly break this treaty because the only time when they would be seriously threatened by Russian attack is when NATO can’t protect her, and she would not want to give russia a legal reason to attack her in addition to any practical ones in such a circumstances.
That treaty was between Finland and the Soviet Union. It became defunct in 1992.
Finland is part of the EU's mutual defense treaty.

Not sure what your point is here.

If we look on a map, Europe use Euros mostly for their internal trade. Now China and Russia will not use USD for their trade. Then coming soon, China and RCEP nations intend to do more trade in local currency, which makes sense, why does RCEP have to use dollars?

In the Middle East, China buys oil, and oil producing countries can use that RMB to buy Chinese goods. If they do those deals in RMB, get rid of a couple of headaches about long arm of US sanctions and lesser exchange rate risk.

Weaponizing the dollar is no laughing matter.

Countries will still use the USD, but not as much as before, simply to lessen their risks.

I
So many of its neighbours really, really hate Russia:
Big neighbors Population wise is China The country with most flights will be Turkey. unless these two change directions. there i very little that can influence Russia.
from translation Erdogan is saying only Turkey and Russia can bring peace to Ukraine with word corridors inserted.
It is Turkish that tame and redistributed population of Syria. Its Turkey that has on ground influence in Libya ejecting Europe.
I will not be surprised Erdogan wants land for his Turkified people inside Europe as he already claim Crimean Tartar and orthodox Church from Constantinople. Russia has experience working with Turkey in field.

my guess is the US will sit on the Mig-29s and not disperse them to ukraine citing some logistic exuse.

The reason for the US to collect them from highly anti-Russian countries like Poland is forestall these countries from trying to send these to Ukraine themselves in a way that may trigger a lethal confrontation between pilots of NATO nations on nationally sanctioned missions, and the russian air force. such a confrontation that will be very embarrassing for NATO to have to ignore.

While many eastern european nations have plenty of reason to hate Russians with a passion, the US would probably like to avoid turning them into loose cannons tails that would wag the dog.

The US likes to be in charge of any escalation, not having been presented with an escalation not of its own choosing.

Most leaders in the West (and elsewhere) aren't used to brinkmanship involving nuclear powers and has lot to learn.
Biden as a relic from the cold war and Putin with his KGB past probably got a deeper understanding than most.
Biden would have been a good choice of president to deal with this 10 years ago. Unfortunately today I think he has trouble recalling what day it is.
Source needed for that statement ;)
The fact that this idea has already been dropped and we're only two weeks into the war with no signs of it stopping?

What would Sweden or Finland have to gain from NATO? They're highly developed countries with no interest in starting or joining in on a broader European conflict.

It's only the poor eastern European countries who want NATO membership as they see it as a springboard for EU membership and free money.
