The photo in the google map link was taken a few years ago and it should be DDG-168, not 169
Hmm... I don't think so, because on Google Maps they have the tag on the year of the photograph, and it's 2022. That, combined with the hangar still offset to the left side means it's 169, because 168 already has its hangar moved to the center in 2021.

Excuse me if this has been discussed, already, but, does anyone know if PLAN destroyer’s sensor suites include IRST consoles/modules as many European, ME, and South Korean ships do? This could be helpful, or even essential, in detecting and targeting the supposedly stealthy LRASM.

You only need to post this in one thread. All ships do as standard.

@Tam Any news about 168 refitting?

136 and 137 wasn't refitted simultaneously. 136 had to be finished before work started on 137.

If work has begun with 169, it can mean the same for 168. The real problem is that old ships are not sexy enough for people to catch their attention, to bother with photograph and put them on social media.

Not to mention this is Spring Festival holiday week (ok, we just reached the end of that at this time), even the nerdiest of the lot have to put family first, hobby second...
