Yeah but in all honesty China's trade surplus might shrink in 2022 if there is a pandemic recovery. China would have to rely on services growth as a more sustainable form of economic growth past here. You could say the rise in demand for Chinese goods during the pandemic was an abberation.

Also inflation and property deflation/bubbles need to be controlled.

I think these are the priorities for 2022.

Comrade Cook, well done
Wtf is "The Information" and the way Reuters has reported it sounds as if he bribed the officials but in reality, it is this:
agreement, estimated to be worth more than $275 billion, with Chinese officials promising Apple would do its part to develop China’s economy and technological prowess through investments, business deals and worker training.
Most other countries can't relate, lol.

I think, Apple is more Chinese than Lenovo and I am serious here.
In a way, yes. But really, it's about Market size and money. Don't go in search of genuine feelings of support from Apple because it'd be in vain.

Its capitalism. Capital dictates. Greed guides. Apple is still an American company and I expect Chinese government to be vigilant. What if CIA is cooperating with Apple for utilizing its presence in China to understand and penetrate the country ?

If things seem too good to be true then it isn't really that good at all.

Joke on them. Apple has helped tremendously the Chinese suppliers and invested lots of money in China to increase domestic research

It also presents a apex predaroe sp the domestic companies don't start getting lazy.

As per Bloomberg, China is close to a BALANCED BUDGET for 2021

So there's lots of scope to juice up spending

China and many other countries work to an annual 3% budget deficit as normal.
