Golden marketing opportunity to name these assault rifle flying drones as Murder Hornets. Imagine swarms of them coming at you.

During Desert Storm, an Apache attack helicopter crew made history by being the first and only aircraft to have taken infantry prisoner when a load of Iraqi troops flagged them down to surrender.

Would not surprise me if these drones, or something like them, also make history as the first drones to take human prisoners in future combat.

Pretty sure various Iraqi troops surrendered to UAVs during gulf war as well, to an RQ-2 pioneer from memory.

Yes, on an island off the coast. The Pioneer drone was launched IIRC from battleship Missouri.

Using quadcopters for leaflet distribution. Anybody recognize the downwards-firing weapons system? If it even is one?
Take a leaflet, or else! Wait till the Mormons get ahold of these!

On a more serious note, the downwards firing weapons are probably the mortars that are often photographed being an option for these.

It’s impressive that the quads remained so stationary as those were being fired downwards.

Yes I recognise it, it's a Harwar Tomahawk module:

Harwar use to list the Tomahawk/Zanfu and all of its tacticool modules on their website, but have since taken it off, perhaps they don't want their website to be seen as too military like. But given the number of drones they're selling to the PLA it's certainly a big part of their business:
