Isn’t that basically the role of the CS/LR17. I mean yeah not the same weapon but an export rifle in the most common 3 calibers used in the armies of the world 5.56x45mm,7.62x39mm and 7.62x51mm. 5.45 is only slightly more popular that 5.8x42mm in that you have maybe two actual users Russia and North Korea. Outside of that it’s a handful here, handful there, these guys got one because “Beirut Al Bob” has a Krinkov and that’s it. Most of the former Warsaw Pact users either dropped it for 5.56x45 or mixed bag with 7.62x39mm.
? Is there a reason to think that CGI depicts 191? (after all the description is one of a 6mm rifle)
More importantly, is there a reason to think the CGI is accurate, given we don't have any details as to the specifics of its operating system (beyond short stroke piston)

CS/LR17 is China's current "main line export rifle" family.
But we can't rule out the possibility that 191 might come in export calibres/types as well. After all, overlapping and competing market segments is pretty normal for China's export facing MIC.
Do we know of any customers yet for CS/LR ?
Im not sure guys. The cs/lr7 is an "complicated" gun, like the FN SCAR, and it doesn't seems to be very popular as an export. Im still to see an article mentioning purchases. Clients love simple and effective guns, like AKs and M16 derivatives. China is selling the type 56 and CQ M16 like hot cakes, and some M4s. The QBZ-97 also as an decent amount of sales aswell. I wouldn't be surprised if an 5.56 version of the QBZ-191 began being introduced as an affordable HK416 alternative of sorts, specially if it has a good quality and is not overpriced like an HK gun. The bigger benefit it that it sold by an nation that doesn't really discriminates who wants to buy, unlike western countries.
By the way. The scopes with the green and red reticles are different models, right? Can somebody identify their names and in what gun they are? I think that the one with the red chevron is the QMK171A on the qbz-192, and maybe the one with the green chevron is an QMK-152 on the qbz-191.

How is it a "complicated" gun? In fact, I say it's even less complicated than the 191.
