Now this is a big piece of news. Finally an official confirmation of HQ-9B range. While this is almost certainly range against cooperative, slow targets and not alerted fighter jets, it's still a huge figure. Given that the HQ-9 missiles are slightly smaller than the missiles for S-300/400 this is basically utilization of tech level in between the Russian 48N6DM (250 km range) and 40N6 (400 km range)

The actual suprise here for me at least is the 1000km TBM intercept capability.

1000 km very likely refers to the class of the missile being intercepted. So it's capable of intercepting 1000 km range ballistic missiles, which usually go mach 5 or so. Actual range at which the interception is done at is not likely much greater than it was for FD2000 /HQ-9A. That system was quoted at 25 km, so this system while possibly of somewhat longer reach, is still likely to be within similar range bracket.

Will we get any low angle shots of WZ-7? To see if there are any openings for possible cameras? Given the battlefield recon and especially target damage role that's mentioned, it's almost certain that WZ-7 would be operating optical sensors.
