I think this is the 1st time in a very long time that US forces and US citizens are in such danger. I dont think Biden understands how dangerous this situation is.
The US is literally 1 crazy Taliban/US away from doing something stupid and then having an uncontrollable escalation with thousands or even tens of thousands of (US + Afghan/Taliban) casualties.
This is an extremely tense situation. Hopefully Taliban and US troops on the ground, in Kabul, stay rational and calm.

Agreed. If Biden really received such flawed intelligence then he must fire all of them. However I got an inkling that this is all Biden doing
But then again for Asia sake just keep them on their position for 3 more years.
The cabinet is selected based on political favors, not necessarily competence. If Biden does fire them then he’d be compared unfavorably to Trump, not that it matters much anyway.

If Biden fires them, it also reflects upon him and the kinds of choices he makes. Biden seems to be following Obama's playbook where all you do is make inspiring speeches and that's it. It's up to everyone else to do what he envisioned.
