The thing is the racist is a black guy! I mean come on. Of all people, he must have suffered racism sometime in his life living in white dominated U.S. and so know who it felt to be on the receiving end of a racist rant. Yet, he feels strongly enough to deliberately stopped whatever and where ever his going to make racist remarks at innocent Asians going about their business. Gee.
I'm not surprised by this. I wouldn't even be surprised if that black man was in last year's BLM protests. He is a typical product of the 'divide and conquer' American strategy.

The Black folks in the US have been taught that Asians are the 'model minority'. Since many Blacks suffered from economic hardships due to, but not necessarily to systemic racism, some jealousy is formed. Hell, they even dislike the Latinos for the same reason. Then the US leaders started to stigmatise the Chinese. "China stole your job". "China Virus". "CCP agents in America". Then these already angry Blacks have an obvious enemy to hate who is not their White oppressors.

This 'divide and conquer' strategy have created the worse kinds of Sinophobia racism amongst non-Whites. It has even created anti-Chinese racists among ethnic Chinese themselves in HK, Taiwan, and around the world. So it does not surprise me at all that Blacks in America would join in on the China-hate.

If the situation were reverse, many would see just racist words as a justification to attack. There was an incident in the SF Bay Area caught on a home surveillance camera where an elderly Asian man taking a walk was attacked by three people. One of them was a kid. On the video, the kid was so giddy attacking an old man his laughter literally sounded like a girl while doing it. I would love to see something horrible happen to that kid.

I recently suffered an injury to my knee where for a while I could easily be knocked to floor if my balance was off in the slightest. I take hikes for exercise and I realized I'm vulnerable. So I bought online a hiking stick/self defense weapon. It has a "glass breaker" tip for such instances when you're hiking on a trail in the wilderness and you come across an over-turned car stuck half-way in a river and you'll have to break the glass to save the person from drowning. Yeah more like a "glass jaw-breaker" tip. I know people think they can say racist things to Asians but if Asians say something back, which I will do, it will provoke an attack and I will be hitting the guilty first.

You have people on the left that seem to want Asians to be attacked. I mentioned before in this forum while anti-Asian attacks are on the rise, a California legislature wanted to pass a law where committing assault and battery which is a felony will be reduced to a misdemeanor if the offender committed robbery in the process claiming he was poor and did it for survival. That opens the door to Asians being attacked without serious consequence to any offender. It's not surprising there are those that want to make it less serious when Asians are attacked. There's a self-defense line that has already been crossed just if anyone goes out of their way to harass someone if they don't like someone's race. Hit away...
That is why if you're an Asian American, its not a bad idea to exercise the Second Amendment. Guns are not evil, people are. And in America, be prepared to face the worse case scenario: racists with guns. Martial arts is good, but guns are better.

Here is an old video taken from 2016. An Asian woman bravely defending her home from 3 armed Black robbers. She managed to kill one of those robbers. Thankfully, she was not hit.

What are the chances that those robbers probably think that she is a good target based on her race? Now that the US political class are both directly and indirectly condoning Asian racism, its no wonder that things are getting uglier.

No gun violence is good. But this is self-defence. When they come into your house with guns, and the cops are OTW. It's better to have a gun than no gun.

In a country like that US its better to be armed then a skillful fighter, who brings a fist to a gun fight.
Luckily I don't life in the US so I don't have to carry a gun I wouldn't be comfortable to use or carry one.

I wonder who was the reporter trying to bait china into this when it's not china business lol. I bet he is trying to get china to say something about diaoyu islands
In normal times MFA wouldn't add that last sentence, so it's a little bit surprisingly that he did.

Maybe one of these days after the US retreat from Western Pacific China will pull out Treaty of San Francisco and say "according to this thing you only have four islands?"

Racial differences are emphasized by the media and the ruling elite in the guise of "fighting racism". The result of this is a divided people that fights among themselves.

Oh the divide and conquer strategy! The first and last strategy of a dying empire.

I didn't know China agreed, or is a signatory of this treaty?

Do Chinese still drink wine with Coca-Cola? That tells me Chinese should stop perpetuating an industry Westerners hold up as important. I've read that some Chinese wines are getting good but because it's from China's they will never be seen as "good" wine. It's the same with caviar. I also read that Chinese caviar has become top-notch but because it's from China, individuals consumers aren't looking to buy it. Chinese caviar is good enough where high-end restaurants in the Western world buy it because it's not as expensive as the more traditional reputable sources but they don't advertise it to their customers because it's the restaurants' reputation is what saves it. Two
industries that are 100% controlled by the opinions of Westerners only and not because it's a good wine or caviar. It's embarrassing that wine is argued over in international trade. Nails are important in the world. Nails are probably are a bigger industry than wine. Do people talk about it? If Chinese people enjoy wine...whatever. But if they just want to get into this hoping to be seen as up there with the Western elite... they're wasting time because you'll have to sign your soul away to the devil and then you find out the devil cheated you by giving up your soul for free and you end up not getting what you wanted.

They are producing 1/3 of the world's caviar at a lake near hangzhou, China. Tried their caviar before?

No but nevertheless the Treaty clearly says Okinawa isn't part of Japan.

Wang Yi met with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, co-founder of the Taliban in Afghanistan today in Tianjin, along with a whole delegation of Afghan Taliban leaders. Wang Yi stressed that Turkistan Islamic Party is a UN ecognised terrorist organisation and and hopes that Taliban can maintain clear separation with them and join efforts in combating them for the stability of the region.

Baradar said China is a good friend of the Afghan people and hopes that China will take part in peaceful development of Afghanistan. Taliban will not allow any foreign forces to use Afghanistan as a base to engage in anti-China activities. He said Afghanistan will endevour to create a suitable environment for investment.

Well, in international politics, you can't pick and choose. Since China is not a signatory and has been on records in stating China, because it wasn't included in the treaty, will not recognise the treaty.

So therefore no matter what is says about Okinawa. China can not be seem to condone this treaty.

any chance on following up on finding out who was responsible for the terror attacks in Pakistan 2 weeks back?

Seems no terrorist group is suicidal enough to claim responsibility which means either India or the CIA are responsible...
