Oh yes. The critically injured soldier who passed away months later was added to the toll.

Nice media manipulation trick though to try project that as China's "revisions" - trying to throw doubt at numbers.

But the most important detail would be -

that contrary to the perception that the Indian side was outnumbered by the PLA in the Galwan Valley, it was the Chinese that faced the brunt and they had to call in reinforcements, which came at night.

That's a good admission. So the Chinese were outnumbered by the Indians.

Chen Hongjun and Qi Fabao was already mentioned on Feb 19 article when it first came out.

I don't think they care much for the specifics. Don't they?

Do we all forget the narrative till now from India was? That Chinese outnumbered and ganged upon Indians.

No. Qi Fabao was seriously injured but has since recovered. He even got honored on July 1st.
Well, then who is the fifth? It was my impression that 4 soldiers died with 1 serious injury.
Then there was news the one with serious injury passed away.
3 contractors were also rumored to be possible initial casualty.

After a year now India still can't produce a single photo or video from the Galwan clash. Did they ever answer these questions? Did they have to get permission from China to retrieve the dead Indian soldiers bodies? How did they retrieve the dead bodies, injured, and captured soldiers? What time and date, and location did retrieve the dead bodies, injured, and captured soldiers?

I already explained: I think it is miscommunication. I went through the Chinese version of the article and they didn’t mention a fifth death. I think it is a case of a bad translation.

In fact there is a Shache airport in Yarkant County..... So along with Ngari Gunsa, Hotan, Kashgar

"Shache Airport" = Kashgar Airbase.

What you're seeing as "Shache airport" is an office building in the middle of the city. The actual Air Base (which is also a civilian airport), is a 20 minute drive North. You can see both civilian airliners and fighter jets parked on the same tarmac, along with a passenger terminal.

The new airport is most likely Tashkurgan, which was reported by the Warzone. Indian media just got it wrong.

. Some problem with Google Maps I expect. Why would Indian media report on militarizing Kasdhgar airport when it's been used by PLAAF for years?
