The way America immediately abandoned the people who helped them goes from heartbreaking to terrifying when you aren't white.
Literally this is exactly what I have noticed

Except for western European and English speaking countries

US will backstab it's allies in no time as if they were a used tissue paper

Why dispite being terrific economies Japan, SK are second rate allies compared to the white countries

The best soldiers/officers go to west and ones with low rankings are sent to Asia

Morally reprehensible behavior by the country despite the facade of the "good guys"

I mean literally they have to threaten people to get into alliance with em or give access to its markets

And will dump you in no time when going gets tough

Afghan gov officials have more chances of survival then tham
The senior officials will get killed as well if they refuse to surrender when the Taliban come and knock on their door.

Good riddance. The Afgan Gov is a US and Indian puppet which causes countless troubles to Pakistan.

They will get cleaned up, and with Pakistan, China, Iran (Russia?) supporting the Taliban it will lock out the western powers.

Did you guys notice that Taliban first strike was at the North which borders the Central Asia countries .... They are closing off any potential entry from there helping the Gov.

It seems that Taliban have learnt their lesson on how the Western plays with them.
First control the borders to stop any Western help (interference..), and from there start from the weakly governed rural areas, build up forces, supply lanes, training bases etc, and gradually start approaching the major rural population centers.

How are these big population cities going to get food, water, energy, and other daily necessities when they get surrounded by the Taliban lol

The local gov will then have a choice between surrendering and getting starved...

Which is why in the following days we will start hearing about cities falling into Taliban hands.

China should stay out of this mess, and wait for the Taliban to clean up.

Btw do we have any Pakistani member here? What are the chances of Pakistan going for a quick landgrab on the Wakhan Corridor in order to get direct border acess with Tajikistan. This would have a tremendous geostrategic benefit for Pakistan getting direct access to Central Asia

Ofc I doubt China would agree on losing direct access on Afghanistan

I was originally thinking for 1 year for the Afghan Gov to collapse, then in 6 months, and now I think its even faster, maybe even in 3-4 months lol

The Afghan army forces are getting routed everywhere. Taliban is steamrolling them. The quick North surrender to Taliban must be extremely troubling for the Gov.

Months? Weeks more like. Seen it all before when the Soviets left, the puppet left behind collapse quicker than a house of cards.

Not looking good for those translators and drivers.

Dead man walking I'm afraid.

They'll be massacred unfortunately, Taliban hate em with passion

You can't blame them for hating them with passion. Think those Hong Kong used condoms. They are seen as TRAITORS and collaborators. So they'll be dealt with accordingly.

The Kurds are great example.
It broke my heart seeing these people get betrayed by the US.

I wont mention geopolitics, but if there is a group of people that "deserve" to have a country then the Kurds would be on top of my list.
These people have suffered so much, fought bravely, with courage, no cowardice. Even their women picked up rifles and RPGs to fight for their land.

I have only respect for them. They got screwed by history and by US and they are still fighting. Respect for them.

See these fleeing and coward Afghan army forces and compare them to the Kurdish fighters..
