All vaccines that use the spike protein have an elevated chance of causing blood clots. This applies to the inactivated virus vaccines as well as the mRNA ones. I think the Western ones have more blood clotting symptoms because the spike protein is allowed to float on its own, so it can get into more places.
Also, if you are vaccinating your children, you are an idiot.
My prediction for the day is that at some point a credible study claiming the virus was engineered will come out, turning the majority of the West's scientific community from interacting w/ China. The fallout will surprise ppl on this forum.
What fallout? Explain in detail.
Every person who wants to be dovish on China will be greeted with the following from their peers.
"You want to do research with China, the regime that killed 600000 Americans with their lab virus?"
Majority will say no to that.

On the other side of the issue, I don't see China ever giving into "international pressure" since all the hardcore countries don't allow foreign opinion to affect domestic policy.
Unless the Govts explicitly bar scientists from interacting with China this will never happen. Scientists are one of the most apolitical people you'll ever meet.
Also this lab virus theory will never be proven, it'll always be "intelligence sources suggest" , "leaked report suggests" etc
China is too big of a country to be censored and no legit scientist will stop interacting just because some loonies walk upto him and come up with that 600k figure.

According to the CIA, the Wuhan Institute of Virology had 3 people with COVID - indoors, no masks, 8/hours a day. And somehow nobody else at the laboratory is infected?
Let's be real. If 3 people have COVID indoors with no masks for hours every day, they're going to infect other people. Those others will infect others. In fact, it's probably a super-spreader event. This is how COVID works.
There would be dozens of laboratory employees hospitalized. There would be deaths. The laboratory would be shut down. This is what happened at the marketplace. This is what happens in every single indoor environment with COVID when nobody is wearing masks. None of this happened at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
The fundamental flaw in the lab leak conspiracy theory is the lack of a lab outbreak.
The scientists will do what the government tells them to. The government in turn will use public opinion to make life difficult for these scientists. Are you familiar with how Western politics works?

Already large swathes of the public are being convinced it is true. And now more scientists are coming out in favor of the leak hypothesis. Its no longer politically incorrect to speak about the LL after all.

Since the majority of early LL theory proponents were so called "loons", "fringe", "crazy people", if they are vindicated then the "overton window" will be significantly expanded. So what is considered "acceptable", "off limits", "too crazy to dare" in the US just became more volatile.

Well, a lab breakout is just one possible vector of infection. The virus could have leaked into the wet market via other methods.
The fundamental flaws of a natural origin explanation are how the virus just emerged so well adapted to human biology and how no credible intermediate host has been identified.
Okay, tell me how it leaks into the market without infecting other humans and causing a lab outbreak (that would leave dozens hospitalized and some dead).
A pangolin runs into the laboratory, gets infected with a leaked virus, hops a dozen miles across the river to the marketplace, and infects everybody at the marketplace?
A broken water pipe floods the virus samples, carries the stored COVID virus down a drain and into river, travels up the sewage pipes, and infects everybody at the marketplace?
