@sinophilia will that have any strategic gain? its a waste of resources, the Chinese is using an asymmetric warfare. exploits your opponent weakness, Latin America is the US backyard any Chinese military activity is a losing proposition just like the American are doing in the SCS. What the Chinese should do is do the opposite of what the American are doing. The Chinese should promote its PEACEFUL RISE development, it should now openly export this policy as an alternative to the US model, its better using your investment for goodwill rather than using it (buying/making arms) on bullying countries.

China promoting it's peaceful rise has resulted in almost every White-majority nation threatening to overthrow the Chinese government and promote separatist movements. It is not working. At some point you have to show people you are not a pussy to get them to respect you.

Base-building in Cuba and Venezuela would be to show the US that it can bomb American cities and infrastructure and erase their military production capability if it so desires. They could either choose to pull back from Korea and Japan or have to deal with this thorn in their side forever. China THEN could promote its peaceful rise through strength by telling the World it is more than happy to remove such bases if the US could do the same. What the hell are they going to say? As long as Cuba and Venezuela are willing to host them (and they damn well would be fucking ecstatic to have China there) then it's the EXACT same thing America is doing - only difference is they started it and China will finish it.

Just ALLOWING American planes to fly within a few miles of Chinese cities is pathetic. Chinese bases in Cuba would allow combat aircraft to fly sorties <15 miles from The White House. Imagine that!! Maybe then they'll think twice about stationing their forces literally right next door.

It is telling that Detente between the USSR and the USA only happened after the two superpowers nearly ended human civilization multiple times in public view of the whole planet. That generation of American statesmen and leaders is now dead or nearly dead (lol Kissinger) so to them the idea that them pushing red lines too far might end up with New York turned into a radioactive parking lot is academic rather than pressing reality now.

The point needs to be reiterated that American led regime change in any part of the PRC will end with nuclear hellfire, preferably with an arsenal of thermo-nuclear warheads in the thousands. Anyone who unironically believes that promoting "peaceful rise" and "win-win" in the context of an explicitly zero or negative sum game like a Cold War is a winning strategy clearly learned absolutely nothing from the first cold war and was asleep during the lectures on game theory.

Christ, this post is so dumb it hurts my brain just reading it.

Cuba and Venezuela would be completely retarded to agree to host Chinese military bases, and the Chinese leadership would have to be even more brain dead to propose it in the first place.

China's greatest advantage over the US is the fact that it only needs to defend its part of the world while the US needs to spread its resources all over the globe. This is a classic case of concentration of power. For China to start trying to encircle the US means it would be giving up on its greatest advantage to try to match strength with the US where the latter is strongest.

Defeating the US doesn't mean China will "win". China only wins when it is continually improving itself and bettering the lives of the Chinese people. The US is on a terminal decline, there is nothing short of a violent revolution that can address the systemic problems entrenched deeply in the American society and political system. China doesn't need to defeat the US, it needs to minimize the fallout of an American collapse.

If it isn't the stooge. You only hold an opinion on something if it is being actively supported or opposed by the government. Do you have any original thoughts of your own? Can you name a thought that coincidentally is disagreeable with the consensus government opinion? Of course not. At least me being "dumb" implies I have a brain, you might as well be a mindless drone.

First of all, the US being so up close to China with her bases in Korea and Japan means it can attack Chinese shipyards, airplane manufacturing, and basically ALL infrastructure. It holds all of Chinese industrial capacity hostage. If a war breaks out, EVEN IF China wins, she's going to lose a lot of shit that isn't so easily replaced in a few weeks or months. Meanwhile all of the US remains untouched. This isn't WW2 anymore. Lead times > logistics.

By basing equipment and men in Cuba and Venezuela (AFTER China produces more than enough equipment for homeland defense), China holds America hostage too. Chinese combat aircraft, ISR, carriers, 15 miles from the White House isn't going to look pretty. They need to FEEL the fear and concern Chinese citizens feel every day with American warships and planes coming in a few miles of their cities and neighborhoods.

CONUS has never been threatened. Not since the War of 1812. They feel safe in their bubble of peace while they act like arrogant bullies even to nations like China. When they realize the fight may just as likely come to their neighborhoods, their houses, their families, and not just some far off war whose only immediate concern to them is if Billy Joe's cousin is fighting in it since he's serving in the Navy, THEN you'll see them reassess whether they should be flying and sailing so close, and housing so many of their rapists and pillagers right next door.

It's really funny how you talk about LOGISTICS on one hand, and then completely ignore how China would go about supplying its hypothetical Cuban bases in the event of hostilities with the US. Lead times > logistics? How did that work out for Japan?

Your post shows a typical western mind set. You think you're so smart because your ideas are supposedly original (which they aren't, but whatever), and you think the Chinese government is this incompetent entity that can't recognize your brilliant ideas, never mind the fact that it's populated by people a hundred times smarter than you.

Sure, I support whatever the Chinese central government does, BECAUSE THEY F--KING LIFTED 850 MILLION PEOPLE OUT OF POVERTY AND STOPPED COVID-19 IN TWO F-KING MONTHS!

What exactly are YOUR qualifications again?

@sinophilia bro if somebody who hates you criticized you, It meant your doing the right thing and IF they complement and praise you then you should be worried. They have NO answer to what the Chinese are offering and if you count the countries comprising the West only the Anglo country (5eyes) are the one making these noises. And brother one more thing RESPECT IS EARNED NOT THRU FEAR.

This is way closer to "Genocide" than what the U.S. and E.U. accuse China of in Xinjiang for giving singing lessons and providing job training in Xinjiang.

@Quickie those Asian American in the video were Fil-am, now the American apologies (AMBOY) may say its sport related, but for us here in the Philippines the message is loud and clear, AMERICAN SOCIETY is racist. And NO amount of propaganda can change that.

Actually, unfortunately, when it comes to Anglo countries respect is ONLY earned through fear. Peace at all costs was tried and now with every passing year they are acting more and more venomous. They only understand violence so they need to be shown China is capable of doing the same to their neighborhoods and factories as they are clearly capable to do to China.

@sinophilia bro for us here in the developing world ,China provide us a breathe of fresh air, now I respect your concern since you live in one of those 5 eyes countries, but for us China peaceful rise and its adherence to non interference is a blessing. We had enough of US hegemony and don't want an addition bully in our neighborhood.
