Anyone notice that the West is the warning the world of "this" happening when they're the ones guilty of doing it? Let's believe that Russia and China are doing what the West accuses... So what. It's the West that's doing little to nothing for the people of the world. What are they expecting? The world reject Russian and China's help so they can be exposed to COVID-19? Is their excuse for doing nothing for the world because they're not doing what they accuse of Russia and China? It's like US house Representative Matt Gaetz under investigation for sex trafficking. So to deflect away from his crime, he is instead loudly talking about how's he's being extorted without any connection to his sex trafficking crimes except that he brought it up. The US doesn't care about the rest of the world and the very vaccine nationalism they warned of is being played out only among Western countries. What does that have to do with Russia and China actually sending their vaccines to the rest of the world when the West is feeble at their attempts? Absolutely nothing but trumping up some conspiracy that's only affects the West's reputation and not harming the world in getting Russian and Chinese vaccines is just a deflection of overall Western failure at a time when they're worried over how Russia and China look better. They would rather have people die around the world than to have their image of being the heroes of world being tarnished. It's no one else's fault but their own.

My wife get her first dose on 01.04.2021, my son on 27.03.2021 (both with Biontech). I have to wait at least another seven weeks until I am 60 years old. But with all but one people in the household vaccinated, there is little chance to get the virus outside of professional life. And outside of professional life, the likelihood was highest recently.

There is an EU approval that is valid throughout the EU. And there are national exemptions that only apply within one state.
Sinopharm's COVID-19 vaccine certificate is an Hungarian exemption I guess.
The article also said "Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine is also the first Chinese vaccine authorized for emergency use by the EU, according to a company statement."

The Hungarian certificate is GMP "Good Manufacturing Practice" on top of EU authorization. GMP itself is neither an authorization nor an exemption.

If one EU country approves it, in theory it is approved throughout EU, if I’m not misunderstanding?
No, it is the other way around. EU authorization means authorization in all member state, but one member state's hypothetical approval is only limited within that state. And I don't think any EU state would do that in defiance of EU regulation.
