I have seen enough of the posts by @Asiananalyst to conclude that he/she/whatever is trolling. @Asiananalyst is probably just another troll sent by the butthurt Indian troll army. India is on a social media war drive as we can see what is happening in India.

@Asiananalyst. Its up to you to prove to us that you're a real analyst and not a troll. Since you claim to be from Germany. Then you must have read Battleground Tibet (aka Kampf un Tibet) by Albert Ettinger? You cannot ignore it, if you wanna call yourself an analyst. You are in the Ladakh Flash Point forum after all. But you know what? I bet you don't know and don't care judging by what you have posted here anyway.

"In military terms, both conventional and non-conventional, we neither have the capability nor the intention to match China, force for force. These are indeed sobering thoughts and therefore our strategy to deal with China would need to be in consonance with these realities ..... Whether in terms of GDP, defense spending or any other economic, social or development parameter, the gap between the two is just too wide to bridge and getting wider by the day,"

11 years on, how accurate is Admiral Sureesh Mehta's assessment?
This video is dated Aug 11, 2009. He retired on Aug 31, 2009. Well, what he said was blasphemy against the Indian establishment. So not very surprising to see him say this either on the verge of his retirement, or he is swiftly retired soon after.

I have met some pakistanis who will love to see kashmir merged to them but that is not what kashmiris want. They will love to be independent even of pakistan.
Nice joke. Kashmiris love Pakistan and will no doubt opt to merge with it. Independence and Pro Pak sentiment aside. One thing that is unanimous amongst Kashmiris is hatred for India.

Or may be he is from same IT cell trying new role play approach. They are good at that.

As long as he follows rules it should be fine.

Actually a test is easy. @Deino speaks German. If @Asiananalyst is who he claims he is he should not have any problems conversing in German with Deino.

Most wars are not because of militaries, they are also a product of societies as a whole. My apologies if you have felt bad.

Temstar, I just have been overwhelmed by the Most experts believed China to start a war in October coinciding with the 1962 war timelines, capture Ladakh swiftly and deal with India by partial withdrawal but they were amazed and stopped by Indian deployments. If grapevine is to believed China was not happy with India in Doklam in 2017/2018 where they had to pay a soft loan circa £20 Billion to get india to vacate quickly before the big congress where XI was projecting power. ( again debunked in foreground but believed to be one of the reasons)
Where are you getting all these "info" from.
China's reaction to the border was primarily due to abrogation of Article 270 by India, disturbing the status quo of Kashmir region.

After Kashmir, the next obvious step is Aksai Chin. Indian politicians were quoted remarking that "they'd get Aksai Chin back" .

Why would China engage in a border war instigation when it was knee deep in a trade war with US and also had the coronavirus pandemic?

PLA soldiers preparing Spicy Hotpot the old fashion way at 3000m a.s.l. With wood fire. Maybe they are bored about having meals the modern way.

Or probably they are empathizing (not trolling) their Jawan counterparts across the border. But the PLA probably don't supply ingredients to cook Indian curry. So they just fall back to cooking Spicy Hotpot instead.

The whole premise of picturing a tough competition between these two states had proven to be a farce, a long time ago.

Do you have some ailment that prevents you from sticking to the topic of this thread?

clearly "she" does. It's called being paid to spam off-topic "news" posts of a intentionally provocative nature. Passive aggressive but pathetic like usual Jai Hind through and through. tsk tsk.

I wonder what this troll "analyses" for a living. What quantitative methods do they use to "analyse". So far just attempts by BJP IT Cell to distract and take things off topic. Mods should really clean this "analyst" up. Every post is off-topic and calls this forum an "echo chamber" but fails to explain how. This thread has proven Indian lies and embarrassed the sanghis off the Jai Hinds with truth. Not a single false narrative propagated here and I challenge anyone to bring a single false narrative up. Compare this with pathetic Jai Hind's lies like Su-35 shot down, graveyards, 100 PLA killed etc. These muppets have so little shame and dignity. I hope you rupees are worth it.

Every country tries to attain its strategic objectives through different means. The current strategic objective for China is to deflect all criticism of Covid and also to get better trade deals specially with US. China believes in appearing strong when weak. A lot of threats to its neighbour are to test american patience and to pull it into a dialogue which can favour Chinese trade. In context of India, there are varying theories. India has not behaved according to chinese strategists. Hobnobbing with US via QUAD, pushing back on BRI/RCEP, taking advantage of US China trade war, Doklam, something which needs to be taught a lesson. The lesson had to be limited until massive indian deployments appeared. The lesson had to be changed but a stupid Indian colonel just triggered an angry response. The same lesson seems to be going on for Taiwan with the larger aim of drawing US to a trade dialogue.
Incoherent rambling aside you still haven't answered my question.

Why do you think there's all these fake news coming out from India? The more recent been the "new border clash" incident as well as the older "China invaded India" when Modi himself admitted that no PLA soldier was ever on Indian land? What is your take on this pattern of deliberate misinformation?

The above two are but two example from a huge list of lies which have been emerging out of India like a torrent by the way. If you go further back in this thread you can see we've documented them each time they come up. My personal favourite is this one:
