With below mentioned shopping list of PN in recent years and keeping the budget constrains in consideration, maybe they will opt for lease options and IMO, PN will be eyeing on PLAN assets (DDGs) when they will be available and same being rumored around PN circles too.

No, F-22Ps would be upgraded....

2 - 3 more Sea Ports are in consideration under CPEC in Baluchistan and Sindh.

We are proud of the friendship between Pakistan and China., Pakistan is moving towards self-sufficiency in armaments. Long live Pak-China Friendship....

I'm going to use this opportunity to rant a bit about our (supposedly) 'elite' SSG:

RANT ON:

A while ago, I heard a former DELTA operator talk about the SSG, and he said they were a 'typical third world SOF unit.' That's not a flattering assessment... and I wanted to see what the problems were, so I found some footage of the the SSG's CT team training in kill houses (linked below). It shows a ton of serious problems. To begin with, they are way too slow. They take their time to stack up by the door, throw in a flashbang, wait for it to go off, and then go in... It would take them like 10 minutes to clear a two story house! (DELTA can go through like 4 buildings in that time lolz.) Their movement is clunky, they don't 'flow' through the structure smoothly. At least they have IR lasers with their NV (but they're monocles) and they have optics for daytime. But no tac-headsets, no suppressors, strap-on knee/elbow pads and frekkin SWAT shields. This is basically where DELTA was 30 years ago, both in equipment and tactics. I know we can't match their assets, but CBQ tactics and speeding up clearing times does not require money. It only requires setting the highest training benchmarks for your team. That's the most important thing for any CT unit and we are clearly failing at that. And by the way, look at how they keep flagging the presenter when he walks in front of them!! That's just unsafe conduct... no properly trained operator would allow that to happen (especially on camera!) That's unacceptable behavior even for regular infantry, let alone an 'elite' SOF unit. You would get kicked out of a civilian gun range for doing that.

p.s. AFAIK, flashbangs aren't even used anymore. I'm guessing that's because they slow you down considerably. The time you lose throwing in flash (which isn't nearly as powerful as it is in videogames, by the way) is better spent just entering and clearing the room, rather than waiting by the door fiddling with flashbangs. The slower you are to enter the room, the more time the tangos have to take cover and/or just shoot you through the walls.

DELTA Force had their asses handed to them in downtown Mogadishu and had to be saved by regular UN peacekeepers.

To be fair, they didn't have the proper air and ground support since the original mission was supposed to be snatch-and-grab. Plus, the downing of two of the Black Hawks caused the situation to go to h*ll.

That was 1993... DELTA is a very different beast today after 20 straight years of combat experience. They've been constantly developing and testing tactics during this time. The number of operations DELTA has conducted in this time is orders of magnitude above any other CT unit in the world. Yes, the US has lost these wars strategically, but tactically, it has sharpened DELTA's edge to a point where no other CT unit is in their league, not even DEVGRU, and they've left units like the SAS far behind. If any CT unit wants to be 'elite' now, they have to match DELTA. That's the benchmark. That's just how it is... The only other unit that may exceed DELTA in CQB might be SOG, which recruits from DELTA. But that's not really a fair comparison, because the CIA's mission-set is different and they're also not military...

One most important thing which I believe you have ignored or might have not noted that the video is not showing the elite SSG operators but the under training personals not necessarily part of SSG, those under training personals could be those who were taken from regular infantry of Pakistan Army or regular personals of Navy or Air Force receiving training of AT operations.

We know that now all Arm Forces of Pakistan and Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies have their own Operational wings for AT operations and CQBs including regular Police Forces; in past SSG personals were employed only to train them, if you recall there is not a single high profile incident after APS incident in which is SSG units were deployed now AT wings of Local police forces or Paramilitary deals with these incidents, latest examples of the competency of AT wings of local Police are the incidents of terrorist attacks on PC Gwadar and Karachi Stock Exchange, both of these incidents were handled by local Police as first and successful respondent and FC/Rangers in backup.

Lastly video is very old at least 5-6 years ....

... I think you want that to be true bro (and so do I, lolz)... but unfortunately, there is zero evidence in the video to support that claim. That is Zarrar Unit's kill house and those are almost certainly SSG operators doing their daily drills. And even if they weren't, the instructors are confirmed SSG and we can see what they are teaching and analyze it. By the way, I haven't even mentioned their shooting stance. Look at the way they're standing in the kill house trying to aim... too bladed, not squared-up at all, and not putting their weight on their toes... That's basic shooting fundamentals which they're getting wrong... All of this is exactly what you'd expect from a "typical third world" SOF unit, which is what the DELTA operator said.

Lastly video is very old at least 5-6 years ....

5-6 years isn't "very old"... If you have newer footage which shows anything has improved, by all means, share it.
