Some high quality countries that go through COVID recognize their faults and search the world over for examples to learn and improve from. Low quality countries lose their rationality in rage and blame everyone except themselves. China does not control the innate quality of countries.
Huawei dominates the Chinese market; Nokia and Ericsson have no chance there. Plus, they are fundamentally weaker than Huawei so there is no need to ban them whereas if Huawei is allowed to compete fairly in Sweden, Ericsson is done for.
That's aside from scale and scope of the nation. China is a huge country with dominant players in every sector and the power to mint new super players in months if needed so China can afford to have some suffer from foreign competition if it means bringing in some new technology. On the other hand, small countries like Sweden and the Netherlands really only have very few crown jewels like Ericsson and ASML that are irreplaceable if they go under so they are naturally much more protective of them.

Why would countries pick Huawei when the US is denying chips? The notorious suspects want to believe countries are dropping Huawei because it's not superior tech. No it's because why would pick it when you won't be getting upgrades because the US making sure there can't be upgrades and then these countries will have to replace their entire systems. Look at how much trouble rural regions of the US are having because they're being force to switch from Huawei and ZTE which they could afford. Again, China is a continent size market and can survive on their own and continue advancing in technology. Everyone else it's going to cost them more or the US because they have to subsidize them to stay away from Huawei.
Exactly, the end result is US made sure countries on US side. Willingly or unwillingly. The result is the same.

Hostages and allies are not the same, Bo. America used to have many allies; now they are hostages. Saying that's the same is like saying having a woman love and marry you is the same as kidnapping and locking one up in your basement. You can pretend it's all the same until you make a mistake or she figures something out, and someone who chooses to lock people up in his basement is already known to be prone to mistakes.
It's quite funny that the Chinese government already adopted the defensive dual circulation with hedge against post covid 19 fallout and backlash yet China nationalists keep on trumpeting business as usual. Lol

Yeah and the only way the US thinks it can stop China is by forcing everyone not to buy Chinese. Pretty futile since China makes most of it money at home hence why China's top companies have nothing or hardly nothing to with outsourcing to make foreigners' products.

Dual circulation simply means to be more self-reliant and to spur domestic demand. This is a goal for all strong countries and has never been in reach when China was more backwards and agrarian. Now, China has world-beating technology in some areas, the power to develop it in other areas, the largest PPP in the world, and a strengthening global trade. It's not necessarily business as usual; it is China evolving into a stronger country. Literally everything is strengthening, allowing China to adopt this goal and yet some people who are quite funny think that this most successfully expanding economy is on the defense.
Well, we're in our world together and you're in your world with yourself... except all your other Bo personalities. So I'd say it's quite clear which one is seclusive and little.

Maybe that's good enough but don't set unrealistic expectations. Without acceptance by western market, China tech product relying on domestic market and some others third world areas will limit China GDP per capita upper ceiling to less than $20,000. Maybe that's good enough.
