Hong-Kong Protests

Triad members are actually fairly patriotic.

Most of Hong Kong triads are formed by former KMT or from HK natives in New territories. After the handover, most of them have pledged their loyalty to China or retired. However, there are many factions within each triad and they are their own boss. The mob boss that controls the smuggling routes is actually a Vietnamese. Jimmy Lai has been to many protests with another mob boss as his side kick. So don't rule out the fact that some triad members are willing to take money from rioters and even work for Jimmy Lai.

Also just to add:
Those of you who think Joshua Vuong should be locked up. Think of it this way. His freedom is proof of the media lies. What crackdown? Jimmy Lie is free on bail, what failure of rule of law?

I definately not among those that think Joshua be locked up. :p

Since the Hong Kong rioters respect USA and the law practise in USA so much that they waved USA flags and BEGGED for help from USA, the same law of USA should apply to those Hong Kong rioters too.

Such as severe jail time for those that shined their lasers at any eye in Hong Kong.
And as they worship UK so much, that old UK law of corporal punishment of caning be tagged on that sentences too.

Then they be happy for getting USA law and British colonial laws applied at same time.

At this point in time with the USA as it is now, anyone’s fear of the HK protest coming back is gone given that there benefactors are now in an economic collapse along with a societal one. Now it’s just a matter of slowly finding the ring leaders and showing the HK people that only China can protect them along with showing just how little there protest has actually accomplished (you could say it ended up killing itself. I wonder how Nathan law is doing knowing that the UK has a much more bleak outlook then HK in the future

I know this is not exactly about Hong Kong, but please hear me out. Because this does relate to Hong Kong.

Cast our minds back about eight weeks ago when Boris and Raab were basking on their high moral ground on China's new national security law. Stating that China dishonoured an "agreement" on "democracy and freedom" and as such, the right and honourable Britain is going to take in up to 300,000 BNO passport holders.

Of course when the details come out, it was not as easy as walking up the UK immigration desk and say hi, I'm in.

Anyway, people like me was saying that Great Britain is going to be in a lot of trouble if it thinks it can take 300,000 Chinese people from Hong Kong. Especially judging what happened last time when only 28,000 Indians from Uganda was taken in.

Well here today, big protest against immigration at the port of Dover, when just under 1,500 came through last month.

Just like to see Boris and Raab' s face when this comes home to roost.
