Sorry, this is in Chinese. Please use your own Google translation etc.

It basically said, the British judges might leave their post and return to the UK if they find themselves compromised by having to apply the newly created Chinese national security law.

It also said that every year, the UK send two judges to Hong Kong to hear the court of appeal! What! Where in the world would allowed that, and the MSM us trying to say Hong Kong is not free!

Good riddance I say!

These British judges are most likely to sympatize with the black rioters.
Good that they return and practice only in the country of their allegiance.
I don't think it will affect the integrity of the courts seeing the blatant bias shown in recent days.
Singapore is still going strong after getting rid of the British Privy Council for court of last appeal.

I feel though that the stinging judgement made by the Privy Council absolving our then opposition politician, J.B. Jeyaretnam that precipitated its removal made sense.

I think some of you probably fed up with all this Hong Kong thing.

But we mustn't forget the bigger picture here, it's outside forces using Hong Kongers to hurt China to make China to make a move.

In fact some of you here have voiced the ideal that China should let Hong Kong rot.
But as I always said, there are still a sizeable Chinese patriots in Hong Kong. And we mustn't abandon our patriots.

The ordinary folks on Hong Kong is the real victims here. Those brain washed thugs are actually the minority that is trying to forced their view on others with outside help.

Look at some of this patriots coming out cleaning up the mess made by the thugs. When they came out before, they were beaten and intermediated by the thugs. Now with the national security law, these good people can go about cleaning up the mess without fear!

I believe that in the US that you wouldn't find that many people there that are truly patriotic given that the government there are not loyal to the people, but only to themselves (kinda like the rioters if you get what I mean). But the patriots in China re something to watch for which I believe is going to be the reason that China will rise and the USA will fall (just give it a few more months before a civil war really breaks out and also, none of them are willing to work together against this pandemic and even less are willing to work together to ensure as many people as possible will survive in the future)

Yes, good riddance to bad rubbish. These judges were finding rioters not guilty. Or if guilty, given light sentences like community services. Etc.

The point is where else in the world, these judges shouldn't be there the first place. And the fact they are there is a testament to the workings of one country two systems. Yet the MSM and the western governments is sanctioning China because of the "loss of the two systems?!" You can't have it both ways!

I know you jest. But in all seriousness, those wigs and costume are very expensive gear. (But I supposed they could afforded with the fees the lawyers charges.) The wigs are made from horses hair, and in the old days were full of head lice. Yuk.

When I was an economic student, one of my topics in the first year was law. My tutor was a barrister. And he thought it was a good ideal to take us to have "lunch" in Lincolns inns in London (all barrister have to belong to one of the four inns, and have "lunch" with the judges 7 times before they officially become a barrister).

The ritual is something else, it certainly was an experience.

All the time when you got one lot refusing to wear masks because it is their rights. You have got a problem.

Not sure if China will bother given that people are pretty much ignoring him based on the video. I mean his actions have pretty much destroyed HK so obviously he will soon be relegated to village idiot status

People like Joshua Wong and Nathan Law are just pawns in the game. They are either so foolish that they think what they are doing is in the right OR they know exactly what they are doing and receiving guidance from foreign powers. Either way, they are just assets.

The matter of the fact is that HK has always been problematic for China principally because China's soft stance on HK was taken as a sign of weakness. Protests erupt every few years and are usually ignited by dubious reasons.

The silver lining for China is that these "protests" gave China a justification to push through the security law. After the implementation of the security law, it puts an end to all of this nonsense in HK once and for all.
