Does anyone have a phone and want to play Diablo Immortal? The outlook for NetEase has become very bullish. The company has recently sold away it fintech and internet divisions to concentrate more on its core competence on gaming.

4 Reasons NetEase Outperformed Tencent in 2019
Investors in Chinese tech clearly favored NetEase’s narrower focus, lower valuation, and higher yield.

NetEase (

) was founded in 1997, predating Tencent (

) by a year, but it's often overshadowed by its larger rival. Its core video game business, which generated 79% of its revenue last quarter, is smaller than Tencent's, and its top mobile games still can't top Tencent's flagship title Honor of Kings in China.

Despite those challenges, NetEase's stock rallied nearly 40% this year as Tencent's stock rose less than 10%. Let's examine four key reasons the underdog outperformed the market leader, and why that trend could continue in 2020.

Trump and his followers think if China has to adjust in the slightest in literally anything to counter Trump's actions, it means the US is winning the trade war. I remember reading that conclusion when China lowered tariffs for other countries to make it easier to get the things China needed that they chose not to get from the US in retaliation. What is it called when Trump gives $28 billion to farmers to counter China's tariffs in retaliation? Does that mean China is winning? Now Trump is throwing his son-in-law into the mix to get a trade deal with China done? Why, because the trade hawks he thought could intimidate China into a deal are coming out looking like high schools flunk drop-outs on the world stage so he's taking a non-hostile approach now by inserting a more friendly face?

Trump is smarter than all those trade Hawks. He has all the time, a back-channel with China, Jared Kusher talking directly with the chinese. Interesting time ahead.

China to exempt US soybeans and pork from tariffs
  • Announcement comes just over a week before Washington is due to impose 15pc tariffs on US$160 billion of Chinese goods
  • Two sides are still trying to agree an interim trade deal
quote,
China announced on Friday that it would exempt US soybeans and pork from tariffs.

The customs tariff commission of the State Council said in a brief statement that some purchases of US soybeans and pork by Chinese enterprises would not be hit by tariffs that were imposed as a countermeasure in the trade war with the US.

The US is set to impose 15 per cent tariffs on US$160 billion of Chinese imports on December 15.

At a press conference in Beijing on Thursday, Ministry of Commerce spokesman Gao Feng again said that if the two sides agreed an interim trade deal, “tariffs should be reduced accordingly”.

Kind of a misleading title. The article says that SOME purchases of soybeans and pork would be tariff-exempt, which is basically the same as making a purchase. Title makes it sound like China has totally removed tariffs from US soy and pork.

You can't make it up! Bo Johnson got out his hwawai phone to take selfie on this morning's TV show! LOL!

這位英國首相漠視盟友的「好言相勸」,竟掏出中國生產的華為手機自拍,當了一個義務推廣員。

Typical MSM trying to distort the facts, I posted on American economic thread, how badly the US farmers are suffering at this trade war! And it is really sad, that this trade war created (let's not forget) by Trump but with enthusiastic support from the very same farmers!

Here's the headline of record bankruptcy in US farms, with a huge drop of 24% year on year!

U.S. stock market at record but farm bankruptcies at highest since 2011

Here's my quote on the American economic thread.

"The Atlantis report. I haven't verify figures quoted. But if it's so, it's scary. Soya beans production went from 103 million/billon (can't remember which) tonnes to 34, in 2018 to 2019! that's some drop!"

What Jura's post showed it's that the MSM are so desperate to show that the US is winning this trade war, just like Trump tells everyone. But reality coundn't be more further from their truth!

Don't get me wrong, as I have said all along, trade war is hurting China too, and also affected other countries. But my point is, it is hurting US, (and more so than China)! Unlike what Trump and the MSM that keeps on telling us it is not!
