Do you really think the rioters would accept defeat? Before the election, the rioters at LIHKG and TG have already decided not to accept the result of the election if things didn't go in their way. And with their sophisticated propaganda and the support of the media, they would have succeeded. The election result just makes things easy for them.
If you think cyber bullying is bad, then you should take a look at the bullying by the rioters. Basically if you don't agree with them, they would find out who you are, where you work, where your wife work, where your parents work, and where your children go to schools and use every means they could to harass you and your family.
All anti-establishment camps have vowed to never cut ties with the radicals no matter what they did. So even some of them don't agree with some of things that the rioters did don't matter because they would support the rioters no matter what.
I never advocate for the PLA or PAP but the central government might not have a choice if things go from bad to worse. HK government wants to cave and give the rioters amnesty but the central government refused to do so. This election would open the door for the HK government to request for amnesty and special committee to investigate the HKPF. Not sure what the central government would respond.
Not sure what you are trying to say here. What the rioters want, what the anti-establishment camps claim, what foreign countries claim, and why the elections turned out the way they did do not have to actually match. You are falling for or propagating anti-China/CCP as well as slave mentality propaganda and spin.
That is a poor and weak local governance issue that is not inherently political. However in this case it does coincide with a weak and poorly led pro-China/CCP camp. Both the rioters and the local government can be incompetent, which leaves the "peaceful" anti-establishment groups the least bad choice.
My reply was to multiple posts by others as well as one of your posts. A special investigation into the HKPF's behavior is not necessarily a bad thing. Granting the rioters amnesty would be a very bad thing but that is by no means guaranteed. Each of these is a power struggle in and of itself, the struggle isn't over unless one side just gives up, even if they are rather incompetent.
now to finish:

Yes, but it was you who were being a bigot at others for their different opinions. Your post is reek of projection, for example:i signed off here years ago due to the amount of bigotry for having a different opinion.
Only people who drank too much kool-aid of Western Democracy would be that concern about majority. So you are projecting here.must be so disappointed there's no "silent majority" hahaha (if you guys had actually paid attention to what's happening in HK and understand what the people are feeling instead of what you project them to be, you won't expect this sort of fantasy to be true), and some even went on to insult them. how typical. (go on and keep your head in the sand)
Members here believe in truth and objectivity. Chinese "communist narrative" just happens to coincide with conclusions from these two values, not the other way around. Your criticism is like accusing everyone of being stuck in Chinese "communist narrative" just because Chinese "communist narrative" happens to say the Earth is round. False dichotomy.the groupthink here for sino-centric views is quite brainwashing. maybe it's time for some members here to stop thinking the world revolves around the chinese communist narrative.
for people here with some critical thinking, maybe it's time to stop getting absorbed by the pro-china narratives here and find things out on the ground for yourself or even challenge your own established worldviews
