Do NOT forget Submarines.

At least 40 new submarines ( Conventional and Nuclear ) are added from 2009 to 2019 !!

40? Mind confirm how you get this number, please?

I know the exact number is always classified, and thus debatable. But my own number says 16 039A/B/C entered service during 2009 and 2016 (1st 039A at 2006). I can hardly imagine they got 24 SSN/SSBN during that 10 years, even we count that 032 (Qing) in.
-- There is reason to believe since first 039A at 2006, NO more 039/039G ("Song") produced after.
-- And you can't count Kilo: they are from Russia. Moreover, they all entered service before 2009.

The curved sail 039B started appearing from 2016 on, production unknown. We have been seeing more and more pictures of these.

Borrowing this post to ask everyone a question.

Wasn't it proposed and agreed by many here that there are Aux GT for electrical generation, and the exhausts are located on top of the helicopter hanger? The reason of this proposed idea was the shimmering air flow over the hanger in some side-view photo.

But from these top view photos, there are certainly no exhausts.

Those claims were also based on the published info-graphics displaying what looked like a set of 3 electrical generators with accompanying GT/diesel prime movers roughly under the helo hanger. See also post: https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/type-055-ddg-large-destroyer-thread.t6480/page-438#post-476739

But indeed, the lack of observable exhausts casts doubt on this.

Now you mentioned it, there is no intake either. We know that those grilled openings on 055 are the intakes, so AUX GT at the front may use some of them visible on the bridge/deck floors. But there is no grilled opening anywhere around the hanger. So it is only possible that if there are AUX GTs, they would be located under the bridge.

Besides, the location of possible exhaust is in the middle of the hanger structure, if there is pipes, it would make the hanger too small to hold any helicopter. The landing mark is a good reference for sizing the back portion of the hanger structure in the following photo.

Here is the only top view photo showing one side of the hanger.
