@Figaro .... R-36M ICBM (Russian) could have 10 MIRV and 40 penetration aids (aka decoys), I would be surprised if DF-41 have less capability than that

The R-36 is a MASSIVE missile. After all, it is called "SS-18 Satan". It is roughly the size of a DF-5. It could carry 1x 8MT warhead or 10x 500+ KT warheads. Some put it at 10x 1MT warheads. DF-41 is not like that. It is a smaller, mobile ICBM capable of carrying up to 10x warheads with lower yields. R-36 and DF-5 are not meant to be mobile while the DF-41 is. However the DF-41 is unique that it is a mobile ICBM that can carry up to 10 warheads. RS-24 can carry at least 3x warheads but I don't think it can carry 10. RS-28 can carry 10x MIRV or 24x HGV but it is silo based.

My question is, how many DF-31AG are in service.

My question is, how many DF-31AG are in service.

That's a question I've grappled with for a while.
I was personally quite surprised to see DF-31AG emerge last year at the parade -- and there were 16 TELs (four rows of four), and 1 spare TEL on the side for a total of 17.

So, working off the reasonable assumption that the TELs and vehicles shown at parades are functioning, in service systems (though obviously not armed during the parade) -- we have to ask the question of what proportion of the total in service DF-31AG TEL count the 17 at the parade represents.

Obviously it would be silly to think that the PLA would've deployed all of their DF-31AG TELs at the parade (or indeed for any other weapons system), so the 17 at the parade probably represented only a fraction of the in service TELs at the time.
But how many? Is 2/3rds? 1/2? 1/3? 1/4?

Impossible to know...

Seems as if you learned nothing  and you are still wrong:

You were not the victim and your first account was not set inactive due to a moderator's foult.

That's clearly wrong and a lie. You were banned permanently due to lying, false accusations, constant reports of other members while at the same time repeated insults... and most of all your stubbornness not to accept the rules.

I would suggest to ban you again or was there a decision to allow you to come back by the admin or @WebMaster ???

Rare video of a Chinese (supposedly cratering) atomic test:

A bit of searching suggests that this could be the CHIC-12 cratering test involving a 20 kiloton device on November 18, 1971. This is speculation and remains unconfirmed, however.
