How hard it is for China to produce more DF-41? ..... I don't think it is hard at all ... once the design is verified, it would be like other Chinese weapons ... mass produced ;)

But perhaps China would limit to max 100 DF-41 (perhaps with 6-10 MIRV each)

The bigger question now is .. how many warhead China have now? ... I guess more than 1,000

That would be nearly a 100 10,000+ km ICBM. The deterrent is getting stronger by the day.

yeapp, and China need a strong deterrent much more now ... and I believe China would be easily increase the number of DF-41 if needed. So now China have roughly 100 ICBM that have the capability to target all US soil, the question is how many is planned? 200 maybe?

How much is DF-41 unit cost, I guess less than $50M ... so really nothing for China

I have always said that China has purposefully concealed their actual number of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. Do you think that the world's most populous country would feel safe with just 270 nukes and a few dozen ICBMs??? The fact that the DF-41 is MIRVed with 10 warheads (even if some are for countermeasures) should tell people that China has many more nukes in its stockpile. I would estimate that China has a minimum of 600-800 deployable nuclear warhead ... if not more. If a *relatively* broke country like Russia can afford thousands of nukes, I don't see why China can't afford a fraction of them.

I believe the number of 10 MIRV is for real warheads .... the decoys can be added on the top of it ....
